International Carbon, Incorporated, (ICI) is a for profit company incorporated in the state of Tennessee, with headquarters located near Oak Ridge, Tennessee. ICI is a startup high-technology business dedicated to the production of carbon nano-structures. Carbon nano-structures are materials fashioned from elemental carbon which are utilized in the building of nano-devices. Nano-devices are sub-micron devices (computer chips are micron size devices) which will be utilized in medicine, electronics, communications, materials science, chemistry, fabrics, etc. The easiest way to think of these devices is to take any ordinary device such as motors, gears, pumps, pipes, wire and so on, and reduce or shrink these devices to a size that is no longer visible even with an ordinary microscope. Such devices have been built at leading government and university laboratories.
